Credit/Debit Card, Check PaymentsNHEC has contracted with BillMatrix, an independent payment processing company, to allow NHEC members to pay your NHEC bill online by credit card, debit/ATM card and/or ACH. BillMatrix is not affiliated with NHEC. Through BillMatrix, you may submit your payment over the internet or by phone, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. There is no fee for this service. Please note: Non-residential accounts can be paid by ACH or ATM/Debit card. What you need for payment
- Your most recent paper bill for account information and balance due.
Note: Online bill presentment is not available at this time. We continue to work toward providing this feature for the future.
- ATM/Debit Card: card should have a Pulse, Star, NYCE or Accel logo.
- Credit Cards: VISA, MasterCard
- Electronic Check: must have an open checking account and a blank check.
To avoid an interruption of service, please ensure the appropriate amount is paid by the payment due date. To restore disconnected service, please contact member solutions at 1-800-698-2007.

Convenient and Easy to Use
This is a free service that charges your ATM debit, Visa or MasterCard credit card, check card, ACH automatically each month. What you need for payment
- Your most recent paper bill for account information and balance due.

- ATM/Debit Card: card should have a Pulse, Star, NYCE or Accel logo.
- Credit Cards: VISA, MasterCard
- Electronic Check: must have an open checking account and a blank check.
How It Works
- You must have an NHEC Online Bill Pay account to use this feature.
- Enter your NHEC account number(s) and your ATM debit, VISA or MasterCard credit card or check card account information.
- If paying with electronic check (ACH), you will need the ABA routing number and banking account number for the account that you wish to use for payment. These numbers can be found at the bottom of a check for this bank account. Your NHEC Online Bill Pay payment will be withdrawn from this account.
- If paying with an ATM debit card, credit or check card, you will need the card number, expiration date, and the zip code from the billing address of the credit card. Select the Pay Bill option from your NHEC Online Bill Pay member summary screen.
